If you are a heroin user and drinking and shooting dope please do not  mix the two, drinking while shooting heroin is often fatal or at the very least cause overdose so stop drinking and shooting heroin. Here is the thing if you think you may have a drinking problem then you need to get help and vise verse. One can be treated for a drinking problem as well as heroin addiction at the same time.

I personally had to have me a drink in the morning before I was able to get out and hustle the money to get a bag of dope. Here is something you can do if you want to stop using heroin. Like I said they will also treat you for alcoholism at the same time. If you are tired of doing the same old crap day after day then I would suggest that you do something about it I always like to say to people that it takes action and it is one of the main ingredients if you want to stop using heroin and drinking.

All you have to do is find a rehab near you and give them a call and let them know that you would like to detox for alcohol as well as heroin and let them you would like to get in for help ASAP. Once you are admitted they will probably detox you with suboxone this will help with your alcohol detox and will help the heroin withdrawal.

If you are a heavy drinker this is the best place for you because alcohol withdrawal can actually kill you but on the other hand heroin withdrawal will not unless one is extremely unhealthy.

Now once you finish your detox then I would suggest that you either go to residential treatment or have something set up before hand for long term treatment because you will not be able to stay clean if you simply detox and I am sure that after getting yourself clean you are in no hurry to start shooting heroin again.

Heroin abuse is on the rise in my small home town of Kalamazoo school kids are dying quite frequently from heroin overdose. I think that these relatively high rates of abuse especially among our youth, are often the result of glamorization of heroin in the music  industry and Hollywood. We need to change the message and I think it is a little but more is necessary so the public has the newest  information on this topic.
