Substance abuse is not something to shun or laugh at.  Some times everyone needs a little help.  These inpatient therapies do the best for all of an individual’s needs.  The difference here is that state funded centers may offer outpatient health services for a functioning individual having social workers instead of therapists.  Most patients will attend these types of centers will the goal of getting well.
