Withdrawal from any addictive source can be a tremendous struggle but oxycontin withdrawal can prove to be one of the most difficult.

Addiction to such a strong opiate based drug sometimes the first step is could actually be the hardest. Getting oxycontin addiction help and not only help but the right kind. I was the type of addict that thought if you had to ask for help that you were weak but in all truth it shows no sign of weakness to ask the problem is when you don’t ask.

Receiving help is vital, reach out to someone who can help you through the process of going to an opiate rehab. There you can go through a proper opiate detox. Soif you know of someone in trouble, lend a hand. Don’t let the depression, nausea, and insomnia go untreated.

Withdraw from this drug can be rather extreme, but with help even the worst addict can survive and live to tell about it by helping other addicts to get clean. Left untreated oxycontin abuse can be life threatening. Reach out for the help available, don’t be just another statistic of a drug related crime or and oxy overdose.
